Blush Pink and Ivory Wedding Invitations
Lauren and Ayal
I was introduced to Lauren and Ayal by the ever talented event planner, Alia Rdissi of Belle of the Ball. Lauren and Ayal live in Maryland but Lauren's family live in Houston. I met Lauren's Dad first to make sure they'd be comfortable with me :)and we began working on their wedding stationery. After working through the design phase with the couple and Alia via emails, I eventually met Lauren and Ayal when they came to Houston for Thanksgiving. Below are the different stationery we created for them. The couple were married this weekend at the gorgeous Houstonian Hotel and Spa.
The wedding invitation was a Layered Flat card with a satin ribbon and small rhinestone accent. The couple's monogram was wallpapered as the envelope liners.

Invitations
For the RSVP cards, instead of the standard flat panel cards, we made them a folded card with the menu selections on the inside.
Icons were used for the menu options - Beef, Fish and Vegetarian
Lauren and Ayal wanted to incorporate a photo into their Rehearsal Dinner invites
The programs were booklet style with their monogram carried through from the wedding invitations.
Ceremony Programs
For the Reception dinner, the menu cards were round to go under the clear chargers at each place setting
For the placecards, we used different colored rhinestones to indicate each guests meal choice - Red was for beef, Clear for Fish, Blue for Vegetarian and Green for Kosher.
The Rehearsal Dinner Menu cards were Layered Flatcards using the same blush pink backing from the wedding invitations.
Tent style Tablecards
Instead of escort cards, Lauren wanted a seating chart.

Tiffany Blue and Silver Silk Box Invitations
Hello,
I have been waiting anxiously to blog about Leilani and Milo's gorgeous wedding stationery. I met Leilani and Milo late last year. They are such a cute couple and Leilani is the sweetest bride ever! Even though we began the custom invitations process a little late, we worked quickly to get all the invitations out and later the wedding day stationery. Leilani initially wanted the pocket style invitations, but once she came into the studio, she quickly fell in love with the silk boxes. Her words, "those are so cool!". She decided to get some silk boxes in addition to the pocket style invitations. They had a large wedding of approx. 440 guests last weekend at the JW Marriott in Houston. It was such a pleasure working with the couple on all their stationery. Without further ado, here are the pictures:

The invitation in the boxes were layered flatcards.

The Pocketfold invitations featured lots of layers.

The Silk Boxes in all their glory!
We completed the boxes with the guest addressed labels for the Box mailers. The guests were so excited to receive these in the mail!
The Ceremony program was a booklet style with the tabs from the wedding invitations carried through. We accented the programs with Tiffany Blue ribbons

The Menu Card was a Layered Flatcard
Leilani & Milo had beach names for each table. The table cards were placed in card holders at the reception.
We also created signs for the Couple's Signature Drinks. The signs were designed to fit into frames and placed at the bar.
Instead of escort cards, we created a Large seating chart.
Time to get back to work. It is indeed wedding season around here and it feels like June already.
