It's been a minute since I did a full blog post. It's been an interesting year thus far. I'm thankful to be blessed with some of the sweetest brides & their families. I'm super excited for my bride's stationery this year. Brides are definitely thinking outside the box and I LOVE IT!!!
Traci & Andy
First up is Traci & Andy. I met Traci, her mom and her then future MIL several months ago. Her mom loved the pocket idea but Traci fell in love with the striped pattern invitation we did for "Amanda & Henry". Amanda & Henry's invitation was featured in the current issue of Houston Bride's Modern Luxury magazine. After our fun meeting, they left for another consultation. A couple of hours afterwards, to my surprise, they returned and Traci mentioned she didn't want to look at anything else and she wanted to go with the striped pattern invitation. I loved all of Traci's stationery. Did I mention she's a super sweet doll!!! Traci & Andy were married last weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana. Congratulations Traci & Andy!!!
The Invitation - Square 4 Layer Flatcard with a custom striped pattern and pearl embellishment
Once the invitations went out [and the guests loved them], Traci returned to have us design her ceremony programs.
Programs - Booklet style with a satin ribbon accent. I absolutely love the programs. Very simple yet classy & elegant!

Reeta & Bill
I received an SOS email from Alia at Belle of the Ball events a few weeks before Reeta & Bill's wedding. Even though we were pretty swamped with work, I decided to take on the challenge especially since I work with Alia often (and I love her!). We set up a meeting with the couple and we clicked. Reeta & Bill are in no way traditional. This was reflective in their choice of colors, font, design etc. So I was pleasantly surprised when Reeta chose to add some ribbon to the programs and rhinestones to the placecards. I love everything about their stationery. A friend of the couple created a piece of art for them (being lovers of art). The art painting became a quitessential representation of their wedding and was used in most of the stationery. They are such a cute couple and were a pleasure to work with. Reeta & Bill were married earlier this month at Hotel ZaZa in Houston.
Ceremony Programs - Double Layered Flatcard with a Satin Ribbon accent. With art painting created for the couple by their friend.
Escort Cards - Square tent with the couple's monogram watermarked
Placecards - Square layered tent cards
Ali & Brian
When I met Ali, 2 things were certain, she wanted the textured backer and a pocket. We just needed to marry all the other elements she liked without making the invitation too busy and we were golden. Once I was able to help her narrow down the essentials and non-essentials, we came up with something nice and elegant. I must say because she had 4 enclosures (each with a backing), this was a pretty heavy invitation. In addition, we lined the envelopes with pink (ha! gotta love my brides!). I enjoyed working with Ali and her mom on the invitations. Ali & Brian were married earlier this month at the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island in Florida. Congratulations Ali & Brian!
The Invitation - Large square Pocketfold with a textured backer.
Kourtney & Obi
I met Kourtney with her mom and aunt late last year. We schedule a 2nd meeting with her fiance Obi to finalize the details of the invitations. I particularly love Kourtney's color choice and the simplicity and elegance of her invitations. Kourtney was such an easy going bride and a pleasure to work with. Kourtney & Obi were married earlier this month at the gorgeous Bell Tower on 34th. Congratulations Kourtney & Obi
The Invitation: Gate style with a lavender rhinestone accent.
We created a custom map of the general area of the Bell Tower for guests
Well that's all for now. More gorgeous are coming up soon. Can you believe April is almost gone?!...Enjoy the week everyone
