Vanessa & Chris' Laser Cut Wedding Stationery

Hello Friends!
I hope you're enjoying this beautiful fall weather.

We have some major news coming up in the next couple of weeks; stay tuned :). In the meantime, today's post is on one of our beautiful August brides. We met Vanessa earlier this year with her wedding planner and my dear friend, Alia Rdissi with Belle of the Ball Events. The unique thing about our consultation is that Vanessa had her videographer capture all her vendor meetings. So we had a camera crew in the meeting. We discussed the different stationery elements needed from the save the dates to thank you notes. Below are some of the stationery items we created for Vanessa and  Chris' wedding. The couple was married in August at the Houstonian Hotel here in Houston. Enjoy!

The Save the dates
The save the dates were Gatefold style with the couple's engagement photos

Vanessa fell in love with the laser cut wrap invitations. We did these in Blush pink and Champagne. Vanessa also loved the idea of presenting the invitations to her guests in boxes.

The unique boxes were embedded with Silk inlay on the inside with pockets for the enclosures

The Invitation boxes were wrapped with Blush wrap and addressed by Calligraphy by Patricia

I asked Alia to trust me with the ceremony programs. So I had free reign over these programs and I LOVE how they turned out. We foil stamped the cover in Gold foil and accented with Blush Silk ribbon.

Inside of the ceremony programs

Round Die Cut menu cards were placed under glass chargers at the reception.

For the Tablecards, following the Silk inlay from the wedding invitations boxes, we created Blush Pink Silk Tent Cards

In lieu of traditional gifts, the couple asked guests to bring wine for the couple to enjoy at their future wedding anniversaries. We created these tags for the guests to write notes and tie them to the bottles.

Until next time, do enjoy the rest of the week!

Mabel & Bryan's Day of Stationery

Hello All,
Hope you had a lovely weekend! I realized last week that I haven't blogged in a bit. It's been quite a very busy season. So I thought it wise to do a short post. I'm excited to share Mabel's Day of stationery. She contacted us a couple of months before her wedding to help create unique programs for her May wedding. I love when brides let me be creative and come up with some for them. Below are some of the day of items we created for her. Mabel and Bryan were married in May in Sugar Land, Texas. We wish them many happy years together!

Ceremony Programs
We decided to foil stamp the cover of the programs in Gold

We decided to foil stamp the cover of the programs in Gold with the insert pages in Ivory but with Gold and Blue ink

Seating Chart
We also created a seating chart for the Wedding Reception. Since Mabel and Bryan had over 700 guests, we created 2 charts for the Reception.

I hope to be back soon with more exciting stuff. Enjoy your week friends!!!

Unique Laser Cut Invitations/Stationery

Hello Friends!
I hope you're having a great week so far!!!

So, the laser cut wedding invitations we did for Debbie & Antonio have been getting a lot of buzz. We met Debbie and Antonio through her mom (the MOB), Teresa. Teresa is the owner of Cindy's Palace, a gorgeous event and catering venue located in Richmond, Texas. Debbie has seen the lasercut invitation and fallen in love with it. She didn't want anything else (lol).

Because Debbie and Antonio live in Oklahoma, most of the work was done virtually. Without further ado, below are the wedding invitations and day-of stationery we created for their October 2012 wedding. The ceremony took place at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart while the reception was of course at Cindy's Palace!

We also lined the envelopes with the same champagne color as the laser wraps

The ceremony program was done entrely in Spanish since the couple had a full Catholic Mass in Spanish

The menu cards were a single panel flatcard which were tucked nicely into napkins at the reception

Debbie & Antonio's wedding invitations were featured in the February 2013 issue of Weddings in Houston magazine.

Hope you enjoyed the post. Enjoy the rest of the week folks!!!

Custom Wedding Invitations

Hello Friends,
Hope you're having a splendid week!

It's been a while I did a blog post on some of our past client's invitations. I assure you that you're going to love this post lol.
I had the pleasure of working primarily with the groom for these Tiffany Blue Couture Wedding Invitations. He was ver particular about what he wanted and we began work very quickly. The wedding was last July in Michigan. Enjoy...

Adriana & Alredo

I absolutely love Adriana's wedding colors - Black and Red. She chose a layered flatcard and we accented it with some bling. This is a very simple, yet classically elegant invitation. Adriana & Alfredo were married in December 2012 at the gorgeous Bell Tower on 34th in Houston, Texas.

Yemi & Taj

We truly enjoyed working with Yemi for her wedding invitations. The first we met with her, she knew right off the bat that she wanted the invitations to set the tone for her wedding. And boy did they set the tone. She worked with Chioma of Dure Events to help bring her vision to life. I tell you her wedding was breathtakingly beautiful! Below are some of the images captured by the always awesome Raheem of RhPhotoarts.

Yemi chose one of our couture invitations. Her wedding colors definitely helped with the elegance of her wedding stationery and decor.

Morgan and Troy's Wedding Stationery

Hi everyone,
Happy New Month of August!!! Can you believe 2012 is moving so fast along?

I had a great time this weekend celebrating with the Corbin Family. I can't say enough good things about this family. They're such a loving family and it showed on Saturday as Morgan married Troy. There were so many people there to witness the lovely occasion. I had many teary moments at the church (lol, I cry at almost all weddings!). First was seeing Mr. C walked Mrs. C down the aisle. Then, when Morgan walked down looking GORGEOUS in her Pnina Tornai "blinged out" dress. And one of the most touching moments was when the Officiant mentioned that Morgan & Troy had requested to face the audience for a quick look. When she and Troy turned around from the altar, she choked up seeing the many faces there to witness their union. PRICELESS!!! And oh, I can't forget to mention the cake. OMG, Morgan's cake had a life of its own at that reception. I must say that Susie's Cakes did an amazing job with the sugar paste flower and the humongous cake! And Darryl & his team did a fabulous job on the floral design.

Back to the stationery, well, I first met Morgan and her Mom at the Jan 2011 Bridal Extravaganza (but didn't remember them until they came into the studio). Shortly, afterwards, I was contacted by their wedding planner, Alia with Belle of the Ball events. We quickly began working on the save the date. There were so many unique things done with Morgan's stationery. I tell you, the girl was no ordinary bride (lol).

For the invitations, we went back and forth on whether to do an all blinged out couture invitation. But Mrs. C wanted the wedding invitations a bit traditional. Before our 2nd meeting, I came up with the idea of including a liner on the envelope and doing something different with the envelope. As soon as Morgan walked in the door and saw a sample of what the idea, she was sold!
I LOVE the traditional, yet modern feel of the invitations. The "gorgeousness" of Letterpress is something that I never can get enough of.

These are Hand Calligraphed Letterpress Invitations with Silver Edge Painting. Hand Calligraphy was done by the awesome Maureen of Pendance

To add some bling to the invitations, we did a Ribbon belly wrap to keep the enclosures together. The invitation envelopes were die-cut created from scratch with Custom Printed Liners.

We created a custom address stamp for the invitation flap. These were hand embossed.

Invitations

We created custom stamps with the Couple's monogram for the Invitation and RSVP envelopes

For the Programs, we did Silver Foil Embossing on the cover with the Couple's married monogram.

I created a "monster" with this pattern (lol). Morgan requested to have the pattern used on her invitation liners carried on to the programs. So we did so on the inside cover.

Since the reception was not a formal sit down dinner, we created signs for the different food stations.

Thank you notes. We did a single panel flat card on Crane's Lettra and added a border. But added a nice patterned liner

I hope you enjoyed all the gorgeousness of this stationery as we did :)
